Here are the big winners from last night's Golden Globes
THE GOLDEN GLOBES, the first major awards ceremony of the season, took place last night in lovely Los Angeles.
Historical epic 12 Years A Slave, starring Michael Fassbender, came away with the Best Picture gong, while American Hustle nabbed the Best Musical or Comedy Award.
U2 also represented the Irish by picking up the Best Original Song award for Ordinary Love, featured in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
Cate Blanchett and Matthew McConaughey took the Best Actor/Actress in a Drama awards for their performances in Blue Jasmine and Dallas Buyers’ Club.
And if last night is any indication, Wolf of Wall Street may finally earn Leonardo DiCaprio that Oscar – he took the Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy award for his portrayal of seedy broker Jordan Belfort.
